A short let turnover does not change because the booking came from a different site. Neither does the checklist.

What a Turnover Clean Really Costs in Malta: an Honest 2026 Price Guide
Why multi-platform hosts connect calendars instead of cleaners.
No booking slips through
A reservation that lands overnight on any platform is picked up within the hour and the clean is scheduled.
One price across channels
A Booking.com stay costs the same to clean as an Airbnb one, so your margin does not depend on the channel.
Built for more than one flat
Every property sits in one dashboard instead of a separate chat per apartment and per cleaner.
Extras when a stay needs them
A reset clean after long stays, bins on collection day and a welcome bag can be added per booking.
Short let cleaning in Malta: the questions hosts ask.
01Which platforms work with short let cleaning?
Any platform that exports an iCal calendar link: Booking.com, Vrbo, Airbnb and most channel and direct-booking tools. Each calendar is connected once.
02Is the price different for Booking.com or Vrbo stays?
No. It is €50 for one bedroom, €60 for two, €75 for three and €90 for four, whichever platform the booking came from. VAT, materials and travel are included.
03I have several flats. Do I need separate accounts?
No. All your properties sit in one dashboard, each with its own calendar, cleans, photos and spend.
04What happens after a long stay?
Add a reset clean for €15: an extra hour on the flat for the end of a long stay or a big group.
05Which areas do you cover?
All of mainland Malta, from Mellieha and St Paul's Bay to Sliema, Valletta and Marsaskala. Gozo is not covered at the moment.
Connect each calendar once, and every checkout from every platform is covered.

Short let cleaning in Malta
Short let cleaning in Malta covers every flat rented by the night, and most of them are not listed in one place. A two-bedroom in St Paul's Bay might take a Booking.com stay one week, an Airbnb guest the next and a direct booking from a returning family after that. Each platform exports its bookings as an iCal link, and connecting all of them turns the lot into a single cleaning schedule.
The work itself is the same changeover whichever site the guest came from, done to a fixed checklist and priced per bedroom, including VAT and materials. The 2026 turnover price guide shows how that compares with the rest of the island.
Linen is where multi-platform hosts get caught out most often, because more stays mean more sets in rotation. How many linen sets a short let needs and the laundry options in Malta are both worth reading before peak season, and so is the piece on the checkout to check-in window.
Running short lets across several platforms
Listing on more than one platform fills more nights, but it multiplies the admin. Each site has its own calendar, its own messages and its own timing, and a cleaner who is booked by hand has to be told about every one of them. Miss a Vrbo booking that arrived overnight and the flat is not ready when the guest does. Connecting every calendar removes that gap: bookings from each platform are read every hour and the clean after each checkout is scheduled on its own.
Hosts with more than one flat get the most from it. Every property sits in the same dashboard, with its cleans, photos and spend in one place, instead of a separate thread per apartment and per cleaner. The price stays the same on every platform, from €50 for one bedroom to €90 for four, so the cost of a stay does not depend on where it was booked.
Longer stays are part of short letting too. After a week or more, or after a large group, a reset clean adds an extra hour to the flat for €15. Taking the bins out is €5, and a welcome bag with local wine and a few things for the first morning is €20. Coverage runs across mainland Malta, from the northern bays around Mellieha to Marsaskala in the south east. Gozo is not covered for now.
